Question #1 comes from Ben N.

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with white line disease? I have a 11 year old Thouroughbred Gelding that has it in his rear hoof. I have been treating it by soaking it in epson salt and warm water and then applying a thrush treatment to the problem areas. Also I keep him in dry conditions as much as possible. Does anyone know if this is the most effective treatment or is there a better way to treat this? Also how do I know if the treatment is working?
